Kids clubs and family friendly hotels in Dubai

We have all been there- kids on a holiday at a resort with a sub-standard kids club or even worse no kids club at all. For families, an excellent kids club makes for an excellent holiday. Everyone has fun, and parents get some much needed private relaxation time. We know how important it is to parents to book a holiday with a kids club that their kids will love and we get asked so many times about our opinion of the best kids clubs in Dubai that we thought we would out together this hand little guide.

Our Overall Thoughts on Dubai Kids Clubs

As with everything in Dubai, the tourism sector excels far beyond many of its peers in the world. Dubai considers it to be a destination of superlatives, and it has certainly achieved this when it comes to the quality of its hospitality across its ever increasing number of hotels and resorts. The kids clubs at all the hotels in Dubai, and especially the resorts targeted at the leisure market are of a very high standard. The list below however is our selection of the best of a very good bunch.

Palm Tree Court & Spa, Dubai

This is a resort that is spread of many acres and though a little further away from the main tourist area of Jumeirah, it is one of our favourite resorts in the UAE. The resort is entirely comprised of suites, all of which can accommodate a family of 4. The CoolZone kid\'s club is targeted at children between the ages of 4 - 12 years old. The club offers following dancing, mini chef discovery, eggshell painting, puzzles, face painting, sand art, bracelet creations, board games, origami, mini disco, play station, evening activities and free dinner buffet amongst a whole host of innovative activities. The ChillZone is a teen\'s club offering activities including music booths, pool tables, games consoles and water sport activities. The newly opened Creche offers professional child care facilities for children from 4 months to 3 years.
                                                                                      

Atlantis The Palm  

As the most iconic hotel in Dubai, The Atlantis Palm Jumeirah is home to the exhilarating Aquaventure water park. Here kids can swim with the dolphins, develop their understanding of marine life in the lost chambers, play on beautiful white sand beaches and plunge into Splashers, a water playground for kids. Again, all rooms and suites at this hotel are designed to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children, making it a very family friendly hotel for a holiday in Dubai. The Atlantis Kids club is for children between the ages of  4-12 years and offers various supervised activities in four exciting zones: the Amphitheatre, Technology Zone, Play Zone and Arts and Crafts area.  A highlight for many will be the opportunity to learn how ‘Atlantis Seakeepers’ care for the 65,000 sea creatures throughout the resort.
                                            

Madinat Jumeirah and Jumeirah Naseem

Set on its own private beach, Madinat Jumeirah Resort is an authentic recreation of ancient Arabia, capturing the natural beauty of the region. Comprising three grand hotels: Jumeirah Al Qasr, Jumeirah Mina A’Salam, the newly opened Jumeirah Al Naseem, 36 traditional villas in Dar Al Masyaf.

Kids will be captivated by the 3 kilometres of waterways and abra boats that connect the facilities within the resort.  The Sinbad\'s Kids Club and KiDS at Jumeirah Al Naseem are the two main clubs to keep children engaged during your holiday at the Madinat Jumeirah Resort. The resort also allows you to book a child care and babysitting service managed by specially trained and vetted staff allowing parents to go out and enjoy a well deserved romantic evening meal! Sinbad’s Kids Club has over 1,000 square metres of play areas and pools KiDS at Jumeirah Al Naseem invites the little ones to make the most of their holidays by taking part in lots of fun planned games, activities and original crafts. The spacious outdoor playground features splash pad, swing sets and a jungle gym to keep the youngsters happy and safely entertained.
 
One of the best advatnages of staying at one of the hotels at the Madinat Jumeirah Resort during your Dubai holiday is the complimentary access to Wild Wadi Waterpark. Situated in front of the stunning Burj Al Arab, Wild Wadi offers 30 rides and attractions suitable for the entire family.

Jumeirah Beach Hotel                                             

This hotel was the original resort hotel in Jumeirah that really got British families interested in holidays to Dubai. The brand new new Sinbad’s KiDS Club is spread over an area of 1,885 meters and themed around the tales of Sinbad. The club offers a haven of fun for children aged up to 16 as a compliment during their holiday at Jumeirah Beach Hotel. Under the supervision of trained professionals, children can explore the mini water park, climbing wall, playground, interactive gaming-and iPad stations, soft play area and much more. The hotel also offers babysitting services at an additional charge.                
 

The One & Only Royal Mirage

There is a perception that holidays at the One&Only Royal Mirage are targeted at adults. This couldn’t be further from the truth. With over a kilometre of private beachfront, this is the ultimate family holiday resort for those that really want to make the most of family fun in the sand! One&Only’s signature KidsOnly programme is complimentary for children aged between 4 and 11 years of age. The programme takes full advantage of the wonder and mystique of Arabia, enchanting kids with enriching activities. \'Al Koufa\' is a magical fortress that boasts both indoor and outdoor play areas. Set amidst the rolling landscape and palm trees, the natural shade and comprehensive indoor arena, allows children to play in safe and stimulating surroundings.                  
                                                         

Sofitel The Palm            

This gem of a resort is themed around a Polynesian style beach resort and is situated on the eastern side of the Palm Island. With 500 meters of private beach, and only 361 rooms, this is a great choice for those looking for a more luxury Dubai holiday. The resort offers the Amura Kids club where children can spend hours in a stimulating environment in this brightly coloured area. The club features dancing fountains, swimming pools with fun slides, books and toys. The club offers arts and crafts as well as a variety of games and learning activities. The Kids Cinema and is there to make the kids laugh, learn and experience cultures, history and comedy visually! Amura is open every day from 9am to 8pm for children aged between 4 and 12 years.
 

Jumeirah Zabeel Saray

As with all the properties managed by the Jumeirah International group, this hotel offers an exceptionally good environment for the children. The brand new Sinbad’s KiDS Club is spread over an area of 1,885 meters and like the clubs at Madnat Jumeirah and Jumeirah beach, the resort offers all the facilities that are offered at the groups’ other resorts.  This is however the only resort Jumeirah International have on the Palm Island.
