Day 3 - ROCKY MOUNTAINEER VANCOUVER TO KAMLOOPS Enjoy a private transfer to the train station and embark on an unforgettable journey onboard the Rocky Mountaineer through the majestic landscape of Western Canada. Travel on the routes of early pioneer trails, listen to the history and legends of the West and enjoy the excellent onboard service. Day 6 - BANFF TO JASPER Leave Banff and travel north along the famous Icefields Parkway into the untamed wilderness of Jasper National Park. Every turn unveils spectacular vistas of indomitable peaks, outstretched valleys, cascading waterfalls and colourful meadows. At the Columbia Icefield, take the opportunity to tour onto the surface of the Athabasca Glacier onboard an Ice Explorer (ride included). Overnight in Jasper.
Day 7 - JASPER NATIONAL PARK Enjoy some time in the resort town of Jasper, boasting an intriguing frontier identity. Venture into Jasper National Park and hike past serene lakes and gentle meadows beneath jagged mountain peaks, or ride the Jasper Tramway and relish the commanding views of the town site and surrounding mountain vistas. Day 8 - VIA RAIL / JASPER TO PRINCE GEORGE Today, embark on a memorable rail journey across British Columbia’s northern region to the waters of the Pacific Ocean. Pass the cloud-veiled peak of Mount Robson and watch the horizons widen as the train descends from the Rockies onto the rugged interior plateau. Day 9 - VIA RAIL / PRINCE GEORGE TO PRINCE RUPERT Continuing west, enjoy the rugged beauty and pioneering character of a landscape once solely travelled by First Nation people and fur traders. The train follows the turbulent currents of the Skeena River and meanders through spectacular canyons and open valleys below the gaze of the ever-present mountain ridges. Overnight in Prince Rupert.
Day 10 - INSIDE PASSAGE CRUISE PRINCE RUPERT TO PORT HARDY*Welcome to the glorious Inside Passage, a paradise for photographers and wildlife enthusiasts. Sail to Vancouver Island through a maze of enchanting islands, relishing the ever-changing vistas of deep fjords, densely forested shorelines, massive ice-flows and jagged inlets. Watch bald eagles soaring overhead, sea lions slumbering on the rocks and whales traversing the offshore waters. Transfer independently to your Port Hardy hotel. Overnight in Port Hardy*. *For select departures, overnight will be on board the ferry in your selected accommodation type. The cruise will end in the morning at Port Hardy where you independently transfer to the airport for your flight to Vancouver.
Day 11 - PORT HARDY TO VANCOUVER Today independently transfer to the Port Hardy airport and embark on a scenic flight down the length of Vancouver Island. This is an excellent opportunity to truly appreciate the wild and untamed landscape of the island, the forests stretching deep into the interior with only a sparse evidence of civilization. Landing in the seaside metropolis of Vancouver, Individually transfer to your hotel check into your hotel and take the rest of the day to experience the services, shops, restaurants and amenities of this world-class city. Day 12 - VICTORIA EXCURSION This full-day trip to Victoria begins with a cruise through the scenic Gulf Islands and includes a visit to the acclaimed Butchart Gardens. Afterwards continue to Victoria for a city sightseeing tour that encompasses Victoria’s stately homes and gardens as well as historic landmarks. You may see the University of Victoria and Beacon Hill Park and pass the Royal British Columbia Museum, the Parliament Buildings and the exclusive homes of the city’s most affluent and historic neighbourhoods.
