The gardens were designed by Miami-based designer Raymond Jungles under the stewardship of New York artists Helen and Brice Marden, owners of Golden Rock. Both artists worked together with Raymond to create this magical space to invite peaceful contemplation. Helen curated the plant selection and Brice placed lava boulders that were unearthed during excavation throughout the property to create sprawling spaces for appreciating the garden. Our 50 foot spring fed pool is the perfect place to lose track of time, or to take a dip before or after an exploration around the island. We also offer complimentary garden tours with our head gardener. There are numerous hikes on the island including a climb through the rainforest to Mount Nevis Peak (elevation 3232 ft / 985 m). Guides can be arranged upon request. Other popular excursions include snorkeling and fishing, mountain biking, ATV tours of the jungle with Funky Monkey, as well as horseback riding along the beach at the Nevis Equestrian Centre. Massage can be arranged at our pool or on your room patio. Yoga is also offered poolside, or if you prefer, in a private spot in the garden. Off property you might enjoy a relaxing and healing soak in the natural geothermal waters of Nevis Hot Springs. Nevis is home to the most beautiful 18 holes golf course in the Caribbean designed by Robert Trent Jones II, part of the Four Seasons Resort. Our front desk can help you book a tee time. There is a public tennis court, just a 5 minutes drive away or you can also book tennis courts and rent racquets at the Four Seasons.
