Location
Pranburi is named after the River Pran. Sun, sea, charming local villages and a convenient location 30 kilometers to the south of Hua Hin are just some of the reasons for Pranburi’s popularity. It is very much a family holiday resort area with good shopping and multi-national restaurants, including excellent Thai seafood. King Rama VI built a palace in Hua Hin in 1926 and it remains the Thai Royal Summer Palace to this day.
