Located between the resort and the lodge, the Thirsty Dingo Bar is a social epicentre where guest from across the entire resort and camp ground come together. Under A Desert Moon

Experience an outback dining delight only found at Kings Canyon Resort. The night starts off with canapés and a glass of sparkling wine on the green lawn in front of Carmichaels’ Restaurant. Then you will be taken to a hidden location where your table is set up under a canopy of stars in the great Southern sky. A fire flickers as you are served a five course dinner created from seasonal, locally sourced produce with paired wines. Some produce and native herbs you may be familiar with and others may surprise and delight. Under A Desert Moon is available every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Bookings can be made through reservations or with reception.

Desert Oaks Bistro

A fresh, made to order lunch menu in a casual setting - a great place to go for lunch after conquering the Kings Canyon Rim Walk. The menu features bistro favourites such as burgers, fish and chips, salads and snacks from 11am - 2pm daily. With the Thirsty Dingo Bar next door - enjoy your lunch with a local beer or glass of wine. Continental buffet breakfast with hot food cooked to order will be available from 1 January - 28 February 2019 from 5am - 9am. Light breakfast options and coffee are available from the Oasis General Store from 9am - 11am.
